Beloved Daddy,

The past few days have been an adventure to say the least. Thursday was incredible and jiff-taking. We had an early start as we crossed the entire country of Ireland to arrive in Galway, the city of tribes. Galway is beautiful and lively, with a history pledged with invasions and deaths. On the walking tour of the city, a local walked us around and told united states of america some famous stories while showing u.s.a. where they took place. The truly amazing thing near the West Coast of Ireland is that there are millions, and I mean millions, of stones everywhere. Considering of that, where other European cities would have built their homes and edifice from wood, which burns downward and has t be rebuilt over again and once again, Galway was built from stone. Rock does not burn down. Galway is very much preserved in fourth dimension. We saw parts of the original walls build when the Normans invades to keep the Irish gaelic out. We saw the Urban center Hall dating back to the Age of the Tribes. We saw the original Castle House of the Lynch Tribe. We saw the influences of Vikings, Normans, and English. Galway is quite merely, a urban center of history. I institute it fascinating to say the least, just the day continued on.

We left Galway to begin the journey to the Cliffs of Moher. Get-go a quick stop at the fishing hamlet of Doolin for lunch. Cody and I both tried some traditional food, Bangers and Mash and Seafood Soup. Succulent! Doolin was very pleasant with its cute little shops and traditional Irish pub. Fifty-fifty though we saw most of the hamlet, I would have liked to spend more fourth dimension at that place!

The trip connected and nosotros left to reach the famous Cliffs of Moher. Now, for the cliffs, I really am not that cracking of a author to try and explicate them well enough to you all. I will say notwithstanding, that if you lot always have the chance to see them in person, practise it. It is breathtaking, moving, and so much more amazing in person. Pictures are included to give you lot a ameliorate idea. Nosotros took the costal road back and I tin can honestly saw that I don't remember in that location is a more beautiful place to exist. The Westward Coast of Ireland is famous for a few unlike things. One of those is the stone walls. As I mentioned before, there are stones everywhere, EVERYWHERE! To make the land better for farming and livestock, men would collect the rock by digging them upwards and utilize them to build walls. They are dry walls, pregnant they don't have any cement or plaster to keep them together. These walls were not just used to split up up the state and livestock, only there are certain wall, usually in bizarre places like up large mountains, called Starvation Walls. These walls engagement back to the Spud Famine. At this time, England were practicing a hands off method of government with the Irish people, so they would not assist them, simply they did offering work for food. However, in stead of providing a useful chore, they had the Irish build these stone walls in the most random places. They were admittedly useless and, as you tin imagine, did non aid the people at all. The Starvation Walls notwithstanding stand today as a reminder of the difficult past of the Irish.

More about Ireland, they saw that when you look upwards pictures of Irish houses y'all volition see two extremes, castles and thatched roof houses. We saw both! Castles and large stone edifice are everywhere. Also, tatted roofs are basically straw roofs, but there is an intricate craftwork necessary to make information technology constructive against the elements. The are very fascinating to encounter! Overall, we saw then much of Ireland in one 24-hour interval and yet at that place is still so much more. I wish we had more time, simply information technology was fourth dimension to go.

The next day, nosotros checked out, did some errands, shopped for souvenirs, and wasted time. Our plane didn't leave until 10:10 that dark so we were really just waiting in ane place and waiting in the next. We got to the airport 3 hours early, had some dinner, and went through security. Since we had already printed out our tickets in Dublin, to salve money, and had already checked in online, we skipped the ticket window. Nosotros waited. Nosotros waited in the terminal for boarding, which of grade occurred late. When we got up to the front, I presented the person with my ticket and passport. He circled a box with words in it and said, "See this here, this ways I cannot let you on the plane." We thought he was joking. He wasn't. He proceeded to tell the states that not Eu passports had to exist checked earlier going through security and that we had to go back tho the front, and get it checked. Our plane was supposed to leave in 10 minutes and it was at to the lowest degree that long to go all the way back to the get-go. Basically, we screwed up. We went back the fashion we came, back to security. Out of breath we told one of the people that we need to get back to the front and she told us, ever then helpingly, that we couldn't go through here, we would accept to go through customs and passport control since we had gone through security. What the heck! We hadn't left the country! Why did nosotros need to become through customs?! We chop-chop made our manner back all the way to the terminal. At this betoken, I'm on the verge of tears trying to figure out where exactly we would sleep that nighttime, and Cody is just pissed. When nosotros get to the terminal to ask the guy would had sent us back, where exactly we were supposed to go. At this point we knew that there was no possible way that we would make information technology on the airplane. However, the guy looked up and downward the final, seeing that in that location was no one at that place, and asked for our tickets and passports. He signed off on them, told usa he hates turning people away merely direction was there. He sent us off on the aeroplane! We made information technology!

The adjacent battle was trying to make information technology to the Inn on fourth dimension. Check in airtight at midnight and our place was due to land at 11:20. The aeroplane landed early, simply then they had to shuttle us dorsum to the airport. We booked information technology! I even tripped trying t run upwardly some steps… go figure. Obviously yous don't go through passport control flying back from Dublin which was a welcome surprised for u.s.! We went direct to the taxi booking place and gave them the name of our Inn. He responds "Oh you meliorate hurry. They close soon." Nosotros no shit! (sorry for blasphemous) Why did he think nosotros were in such a big bustle? We paid and he sent usa over to the driver. Nosotros got in that location in about 10 minutes, which was quite amazing! Walking inside to the desk, bells rang when nosotros opened the door and we rang the bell on the desk. It was xi:45 and nosotros had made it, only at that place was no one there. Nosotros could hear the TV on in the next room simply no one came out. We stood at that place for a bit and so rang again. We talked loudly and agree that worse case scenario, they would see us when they came to lock the door at midnight. A couple dings later, and a very big and fluffy dog emerged from the room with the Telly. He looked at us for a little chip. We told him to go go his owner, and he went back in the room. To our surprise, a few seconds later, we heard human movement, and a lady emerged! She apologised and said she savage asleep in front of the telly. We paid and went to our room. Sitting down, everything hit us. We made information technology.

I really believe that you lot were watching over united states, that you are the reason everything worked out. My guardian angel.

Wish you were here,

Kaylee
